IDR is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Bend, Oregon. This role involves working in the aerospace and defense sector, focusing on designing and developing advanced electrical systems and components. The position offers the chance to contribute to innovative projects within a cutting-edge industry.
Position Overview for the Electrical Engineer:
- Research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve electrical products and systems
- Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle
- Work with analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies and fully integrated systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design and development teams
- Utilize engineering principles and CAE tools to analyze and optimize electrical designs
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer:
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Familiarity with design requirements for High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
