This pivotal role involves collaborating with the FP&A and IT data teams to enhance and streamline the FP&A Forecasting and Reporting processes. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Developer – FP&A Forecasting & Reporting:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of core code using Python and related environments such as Jupyter and Databricks.
Collaborate with FP&A and data teams to integrate forecasting models, analytics, and data pipelines.
Ensure computational performance, scalability, and reliability across FP&A workloads.
Drive technical innovation, including the use of compute grids and AI-based methods.
Provide technical guidance and serve as a senior escalation point for critical incidents.
Required Skills for Senior Developer – FP&A Forecasting & Reporting:
Expert Python skills with experience in building high-performance, data-intensive systems.
Strong understanding of Life & Annuity data and financial models.
Deep knowledge of data management in hybrid cloud ecosystems like AWS and Snowflake.
Hands-on experience with compute parallelization and performance optimization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
