IDR is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role involves leading modernization efforts within an AI-enabled delivery organization, focusing on enhancing team productivity and delivery predictability through the use of AI tools and innovative workflow solutions.
Position Overview for the Senior Scrum Master:
- Lead the modernization of Scrum Master practices by integrating AI tools such as M365, Copilot Studio, and Azure DevOps to streamline delivery operations
- Support engineering and product teams by creating lightweight AI helpers for standups, backlog refinement, risk detection, and dependency management
- Utilize AI insights and automation to surface delivery risks, trends, and bottlenecks, ensuring proactive resolution
- Drive improvements in delivery flow, predictability, and team collaboration by leveraging AI-driven data and process enhancements
- Facilitate seamless communication and alignment across cross-functional teams while maintaining adherence to security and data handling guidelines
Requirements for the Senior Scrum Master:
- 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for boards, sprints, and delivery flow
- Experience using AI tools (Copilot, M365-based AI, workflows, or automation platforms)
- Ability to interpret data and AI insights to support better team decision-making
- Strong understanding of secure development practices and data-handling expectations
