IDR is seeking a Batch Operator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New Castle, DE. This role involves managing and supporting batch processing operations within a fast-paced environment. The company is a major player in the technology and application support industry, providing critical services to enterprise clients.
Position Overview for the Batch Operator:
- Schedule, monitor, and run batch jobs across multiple environments
- Monitor production systems to ensure application uptime and stability
- Analyze production errors, identify root causes, and propose long-term fixes
- Develop and maintain SQL monitoring queries and reports
- Collaborate with development, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and improve performance
Requirements for the Batch Operator:
- 5+ years of experience in application development and support
- 4+ years of hands-on production support experience with .NET applications
- 3+ years of experience developing SSIS packages
- Strong knowledge of C#, BizTalk, SOAP, and REST services
- Solid experience in batch design, scheduling, and execution
