IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Arlington, Texas. This role focuses on managing large-scale infrastructure projects and enterprise-level IT solutions. The position involves overseeing project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring delivery aligns with organizational goals.
Position Overview for the Project Manager:
- Leading and overseeing departmental and enterprise-level technology infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle
- Managing project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technology solutions and serving as the liaison between departments and hardware/software vendors
- Coordinating efforts between IT teams and departmental stakeholders to implement solutions effectively
- Currently managing projects such as a VoIP migration to the 8×8 phone system and a neighborhood Wi-Fi access project
Requirements for the Project Manager:
- 4+ years of experience in managing large technology infrastructure projects throughout the entire lifecycle within a PMO
- Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute)
- Knowledge of cloud-hosted VoIP solutions (e.g., Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco Webex, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, 8×8)
- Familiarity with wireless (Wi-Fi 6/6E, WLAN controllers) and wireline systems including structured cabling standards, fiber, and copper technologies
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to VoIP system migrations
