IDR is seeking a F5 Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing advanced application delivery and security solutions using F5 BIG-IP platforms. This position offers a dynamic and client-facing environment where the engineer will support multiple customer environments.

Position Overview for the F5 Engineer:

  • Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for F5 BIG-IP systems, including LTM, GTM, ASM, and APM modules.
  • Manage and support F5 rSeries hardware, including standup and migration projects.
  • Develop and troubleshoot iRules, traffic policies, SSL certificates, and profiles.
  • Support high-availability and failover configurations in client environments.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and system teams to deliver comprehensive application delivery solutions.

Requirements for the F5 Engineer:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM).
  • Strong experience with iRules, traffic policies, and certificate management.
  • Experience with TMOS / F5OS platforms and F5 rSeries hardware.
  • Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and experience with Linux (RedHat, Rocky Linux).
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and support after-hours activities.
