Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Desktop Support Specialist:

Provide hands-on support by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for desktops and laptops. Configure and set up workstations for new users, as well as upgrade existing systems and software. Manage and troubleshoot network and telecommunication systems, including LAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Utilize a ticketing system to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Perform imaging, re-imaging, data migrations, and restorations, ensuring seamless workstation setups.

Required Skills for Desktop Support Specialist:

Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal, with a solutions-oriented approach. Proficiency in hardware and software support, including hands-on experience with repairs and replacements. Familiarity with Active Directory for tasks such as password resets and account management. Ability to multitask and think critically in a fast-paced environment. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
