IDR is seeking a SAP Ariba Sourcing Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Sacramento, California. This role offers a unique chance to lead sourcing initiatives within a government agency using SAP Ariba technology. The position involves overseeing the implementation and optimization of sourcing processes, ensuring successful project delivery.
Position Overview for the SAP Ariba Sourcing Lead:
- Lead SAP Ariba Sourcing implementations, managing project scope, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder requirements to ensure successful sourcing outcomes.
- Define and guide sourcing strategies and best practices, leveraging Ariba to execute competitive sourcing events, RFx processes, and supplier negotiations.
- Configure, optimize, and enhance the SAP Ariba Sourcing platform, ensuring strong system performance and seamless integration with procurement and ERP systems.
- Drive user adoption by providing mentoring, developing user documentation, delivering training sessions, and supporting organizational change management activities.
- Analyze sourcing data, KPIs, and system insights to identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
Requirements for the SAP Ariba Sourcing Lead:
- Proven experience leading SAP Ariba Sourcing implementations, including managing project scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong knowledge of configuring and optimizing SAP Ariba Sourcing platforms, with experience supporting complex RFx or sourcing events.
- Demonstrated ability to drive user adoption and change management for sourcing processes, with effective training and mentoring skills.
- SAP Ariba Certification is preferred; experience with SAP S/4HANA is also preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on process improvement.
