IDR is seeking a SAP Ariba Contracts Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Sacramento, California. This role is within a government organization in the public sector that focuses on justice and correction services. The position involves leading SAP Ariba Contracts implementations and supporting procurement and legal processes with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
Position Overview for the SAP Ariba Contracts Lead:
- Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba Contracts implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment of contract management functionalities.
- Drive contract creation, negotiation, approval, and lifecycle management using SAP Ariba solutions to support compliance, risk mitigation, and organizational policy alignment.
- Configure and optimize contract templates, clause libraries, and workflow processes, ensuring seamless integration with procurement, legal, and other cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a key champion for user adoption—conducting training sessions, supporting change management initiatives, and enhancing overall proficiency with Ariba Contracts across business units.
- Monitor contract performance, analytics, and compliance metrics, delivering insights and recommendations to drive continuous process improvement and maximize value realization.
Requirements for the SAP Ariba Contracts Lead:
- Proven experience implementing SAP Ariba Contracts, including responsibilities in requirements gathering, configuration, and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to configure contract templates, clause libraries, or workflows in SAP Ariba to support procurement or legal processes.
- Experience leading complex SAP Ariba Contracts projects with a focus on user adoption and change management.
- SAP Ariba Certification is preferred; SAP S/4HANA experience is also preferred.
- Ability to sit in California and attend a mandatory live scan fingerprinting process before onboarding.
