Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Project Manager:
• Lead and manage all phases of infrastructure projects, including cabling, network equipment, and IT security installations for various departments and agencies.
• Coordinate and execute projects such as low voltage deployments, telecom system installations, and security card reader/camera projects.
• Develop project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery within scope.
• Conduct site surveys, manage contractor bids, and oversee project designs and material procurement.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.
Required Skills for Infrastructure Project Manager:
• Minimum of 4-5 years of project management experience, particularly in IT infrastructure for new buildings.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects with attention to detail and successful outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with IT project management for construction and remodel projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project or SmartSheet, Visio (or Bluebeam), MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction materials, and telecommunications infrastructure.
