IDR is seeking a eCommerce Planner to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role supports inventory management and sales forecasting within a dynamic and growing entertainment industry. The position involves analyzing sales data, managing inventory levels, and strategizing promotional activities to optimize product performance.
Position Overview for the eCommerce Planner:
- Manage inventory across a roster of stores by reviewing on-hand quantities and determining stock positions based on various factors such as weeks of supply, sell-through rates, seasonal trends, and artist lifecycle.
- Project sales and inventory needs for core products based on historical data and forecasted growth.
- Identify items for promotional and marketing strategies and determine their lifecycle.
- Make inventory recommendations based on SKU performance analysis and opportunities for print-on-demand.
- Collaborate within a growing commercial environment across multiple platforms, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements for the eCommerce Planner:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work within a growing and developing commercial environment across various platforms, with ever-developing systems
- Strong ability in Microsoft Excel
- At least 2-4 years of general business experience, preferably in music or entertainment industry; e-commerce experience – at least 2 years of buying, planning, sales analysis and/or forecasting
