IDR is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in project management within the technology or professional services industry who is capable of managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships. The company operates in the IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions space, focusing on delivering high-quality projects for diverse clients.
Position Overview for the Sr. Project Manager :
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer, maintaining strong communication and professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Take end-to-end responsibility for defined projects, ensuring delivery meets scope, quality, and cost parameters
- Collaborate with account teams on financial control and reporting, supporting presales activities and project proposals
- Lead customer engagement during scope negotiations, change management, and issue resolution
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements for the Sr. Project Manager :
- Proven experience in program or project management, preferably within a professional service, service provider, or technology environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure components including storage, compute, networking, and security
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
