IDR is seeking a Epic Application Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Malden, MA. This role involves supporting and optimizing Epic applications within a healthcare system dedicated to high-quality, equitable, and patient-centered care. The position offers both remote flexibility and the opportunity to work onsite as needed.
Position Overview for the Epic Application Analyst:
- Maintain and optimize current Epic system applications to ensure seamless operation and performance.
- Coordinate testing and updates with users and vendors to ensure reliable system upgrades.
- Act as liaison between end users and software vendors to facilitate system modifications and enhancements.
- Develop and deliver specialized training to end-users to maximize system utilization.
- Manage IT projects in collaboration with operational and clinical subject matter experts to implement new applications and updates.
Requirements for the Epic Application Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, Information Systems, Business Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5-7 years of experience as an Application Analyst or similar healthcare IT role.
- Valid Epic experience with certification preferred.
- Solid understanding of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and databases.
