Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Intake Coordinator (100% remote): Coordinate incoming referrals from various sources, ensuring all necessary documentation is received promptly. Input patient demographic, clinical, and insurance information into the system with precision. Verify insurance details and confirm patient financial responsibility before initiating services. Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Access, and Clinical to ensure seamless processing of referrals. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and complete documentation of progress notes.
Required Skills for Intake Coordinator (100% remote): High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to ask questions when needed. Familiarity with healthcare systems, particularly in post-acute care settings. Background in scheduling, clinical coordination, intake coordination, or insurance eligibility is advantageous.
