IDR is seeking a Computer Hardware Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Thornton, CO. This role involves providing hardware troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services within a professional technical environment. The company specializes in technology solutions and IT support services, focusing on ensuring device performance and reliability.
Position Overview for the Computer Hardware Technician:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues on Windows and Chromebook devices.
- Perform repairs, upgrades, and maintenance following manufacturer and organizational standards.
- Replace and configure hardware components such as hard drives, memory modules, motherboards, power supplies, and peripherals.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately using IT service desk or ticketing systems.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure repaired devices meet performance and reliability standards.
Requirements for the Computer Hardware Technician:
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues on Windows and Chromebook devices.
- Strong knowledge of hardware repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with replacing and configuring hardware components such as hard drives, memory modules, motherboards, power supplies, and peripherals.
- Ability to document repairs and maintenance activities accurately using IT service desk or ticketing systems.
- Vendor certifications (e.g., Dell, HP) or equivalent technical training are a strong plus.

Compensation Details: $17-20/hr W2
