IDR is seeking an Application Tester to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is within the public sector, supporting state-level projects related to healthcare and eligibility systems. The position offers a chance to work on critical government initiatives in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and scripts for Eligibility and integrated systems.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate end-to-end system performance and data accuracy.

Conduct advanced mainframe, interface, and Java application testing to ensure smooth communication between system components.

Manage and maintain test data, environments, and configurations to support efficient test execution.

Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring quality standards are met prior to release.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and system owners to troubleshoot and validate system fixes.
Requirements:

5+ years’ experience with Interface Controls and Testing

Advanced Mainframe Testing expertise

Advanced Java Application Testing proficiency

Strong Test Case Execution skills

Expertise in Test Case and Script Development

Advanced Test Data Management capabilities
-
Hands-on experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks
