IDR is seeking a Application Deployment Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role involves supporting large-scale application and package deployments within a global enterprise environment, focusing on automation, troubleshooting, and adherence to deployment standards. The company operates within the technology and financial services industry, emphasizing innovative and reliable application delivery.
Position Overview for the Application Deployment Engineer:
• Support enterprise-wide application deployments with a focus on MSI, App-V, and Cloudpaging tools.
• Follow and improve standardized operating procedures for global application releases.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and perform root cause analysis in a high-volume environment.
• Collaborate with US and international teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Document procedures, deployment configurations, and troubleshooting outcomes.
Requirements for the Application Deployment Engineer:
• 4 to 5 years of experience in large-scale application/package deployment.
• Hands-on experience with MSI and App-V packaging tools.
• Familiarity with Numecent (Cloudpaging) is preferred.
• Understanding of databases, triggers, and enterprise deployment frameworks.
• Ability to deploy to over 100,000 users and ~20,000 physical machines, managing high-volume releases.
