Help Desk Administrator – Remote (Houston, TX)

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Administrator to provide technical support and exceptional customer service to internal users. The Help Desk Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for IT hardware, software, and telecommunications issues—troubleshooting problems, resolving incidents, and escalating complex cases as needed. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

  • Provide remote technical support, including migration assistance and desktop configuration.

  • Manage and resolve issues in Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Admin Center, and Intune environments.

  • Support and resolve issues related to VPN connectivity, printers, and mobile device email access.

  • Create, document, and update knowledge articles in ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

  • Maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions within Azure and other applications.

  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when appropriate while maintaining ownership of the ticket.

  • Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities under time pressure.


Top Skills:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ as Helpdesk Admin/Desktop Support withing Microsoft 365/ Office Suite Support (hardware, software, and network troubleshooting)
  • 2+ years Azure Administration including account creation, security group management, licensing, MFA.
  • 2 years’ Exchange Admin Center experience – manage, create users, distribution, shared mailboxes management
  • 1+ year of professional experience with Intune – Manage computers, applications.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • VPN setup and troubleshooting experience

  • Printer and mobile device support

  • Familiarity with telecommunications support

  • Strong documentation and knowledge base maintenance skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
