IDR is seeking a Data Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Santa Monica, CA. This organization is a leader in people analytics and diversity initiatives, leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and foster an inclusive environment. The role involves analyzing HR-related data to support DEI, ESG, and HR leadership initiatives.
Position Overview for the Data Analyst:
- Collect, clean, and analyze people data such as headcount, DEI metrics, engagement, and turnover to generate actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track KPIs and strategic goal progress.
- Partner with HRIS, Finance, and Sustainability teams to ensure data alignment and reporting standards.
- Conduct data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across multiple systems.
- Support ESG and DEI reporting requirements through precise data collection and narrative support.
Requirements for the Data Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, HR reporting, or project coordination (preferably within HR, DEI, or ESG functions).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience managing projects or supporting PMO functions; familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to non-technical audiences.
