IDR is seeking a Systems Migration Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, Georgia. This role involves leading complex data migration projects within the technology and software industry, focusing on transitioning from Smartsheet to Microsoft Project for the Web. The company is committed to innovative digital solutions and improving project management efficiencies.
Position Overview for the Systems Migration Specialist:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of the Smartsheet to Microsoft Project for the Web migration.
- Configure Microsoft Project for the Web, including templates, views, permissions, and integrations with Power Platform tools.
- Extract, map, and transform Smartsheet data to ensure accurate migration and continuity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, manage risks, and communicate progress.
- Ensure data quality through cleansing, validation, and structured transformation.
Requirements for the Systems Migration Specialist:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project for Web.
- Experience configuring Project for the Web.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet to Microsoft Project migration, including data extraction, mapping, and transformation.
- Strong skills in data structuring, cleansing, and migration, with the ability to maintain reporting integrity across platforms.
- Familiarity with Power Platform integrations (Power Automate, Dataverse) and change management & training (desirable).
