IDR is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join one of our top clients in Phoenix, AZ. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Representative:

• Manage the full accounts receivable process, including generating invoices, applying payments, and handling past-due accounts. • Utilize ERP systems such as Waystar, Instamed, Availity, and WellSky, along with proficiency in Teams, Outlook, and Excel. • Reconcile accounts, identify unapplied or misapplied payments, and monitor AR aging to prioritize collections. • Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and operations to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships. • Work onsite from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or weekend shifts.

Required Skills for Accounts Receivable Representative:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits/credits and the AR process. • Experience in healthcare billing, including familiarity with insurance billing, denials, and EOBs. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve mismatched balances. • Proficient in professional communication and negotiation to tactfully collect overdue payments. • Highly organized with attention to detail, capable of managing high-volume AR efficiently.
