We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join one of our top healthcare clients in Austin, Tx! If you have a passion for project management within IT and are looking for an opportunity to work for growing company in Austin, APPLY TODAY!
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of healthcare IT systems, data flows, and clinical workflows.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with the IT components within facilities and physical security areas (e.g., access control, fire alarms, elevators, CCTV)
- Experience with structured cabling and cabling requirements for peripheral systems such as MOCN and DAS.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM/PPM, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
Project Management Skills:
- Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication and expectation management.
Top Skills:
- Required – PMP, CAPM, or PMI-ACP
- 4+ years of proven experience in IT project delivery, with at least 2 years in healthcare IT
- 2+ years of proven experience with healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR (Epic, Cerner), PACS, HL7/FHIR interfaces and integrations.
- 2+ years of proven experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, data privacy, data security, and regulatory requirements (e.g. HIPAA, HITECH)
- 4+ years of proven experience with PMI practices and Agile project management/ development methodologies.
Nice to Have:
- 2+ years of experience with vendor and contract management, AV and cabling vendors
- Experince with ServiceNow
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Healthcare-specific certifications (e.g., CPHIMS)
