Position Overview/Responsibilities for the BI Analyst:
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and document critical data and its role in business workflows.
- Partner with third-party vendors to acquire and integrate data through APIs, SFTP, or JSON file transfers.
- Ingest, structure, and validate data within the enterprise data warehouse to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Utilize SQL and BI tools to extract, manipulate, and visualize data for reporting and decision support.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
Required Skills for BI Analyst:
- Proven experience in data warehouse and business intelligence projects.
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write and understand queries across various databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Great Expectations, etc.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills to capture requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience in data integration from external sources via APIs, SFTP, or JSON file transfers.
