IDR is seeking a Workday Projects & Assets Lead to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading the configuration, implementation, and management of Workday Financials and Assets modules in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The organization operates within the financial management sector, emphasizing innovative solutions and process optimization.
Position Overview for the Workday Projects & Assets Lead:
- Serve as the functional lead for the Workday Projects and Business Assets modules, ensuring successful configuration and delivery.
- Conduct customer playback sessions, demos, and workshops to validate requirements and showcase configured functionality.
- Manage tenant configuration activities, ensuring accurate setup of business processes, worktags, and project structures.
- Develop user stories, configuration workbooks, and business process documentation aligned with client requirements.
- Support unit, end-to-end, and user experience testing, including test case creation and issue resolution.
Requirements for the Workday Projects & Assets Lead:
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Financials, including configuration, reporting, and integration points.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing project accounting, cost tracking, and reporting functionalities.
- Advanced understanding of asset accounting, capitalization processes, and asset lifecycle management within Workday.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, validate configurations, and align Workday functionality with business requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading tenant configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
