Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr. Storage Operations Engineer:
- Collaborate with our client's team to review and optimize storage configurations, ensuring efficient and effective data management.
- Perform LUN creation and troubleshoot performance issues to maintain seamless operations.
- Engage in general administrative duties related to storage operations and data protection tasks.
- Assist in reviewing backup policies, performing code upgrades, and troubleshooting backup failures.
- Leverage your expertise in Dell Technologies storage and data protection, with a focus on Brocade SAN Fabric management.
Required Skills for Sr. Storage Operations Engineer:
- Proficiency in Dell Technologies storage solutions and data protection portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of SAN administration, particularly with Connectrix B-Series (Brocade) hardware.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving storage performance issues. Familiarity with data protection tasks, including backup policy review and code upgrades.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Fort Worth, Texas.
