IDR is seeking a ODM Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting large-scale state projects focused on client eligibility systems within the healthcare industry. The position offers the chance to work remotely on a critical state initiative with an innovative organization.
Position Overview for the ODM Developer:
- Design, develop, and implement business rules and decision services using IBM ODM or other BRMS tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into executable decision logic.
- Develop, test, and deploy decision artifacts, ruleflows, and data models to support enterprise systems.
- Integrate ODM solutions with Java applications, APIs, and databases to enable real-time decision processing.
- Perform unit testing, regression testing, and validation of business rules to ensure accuracy and performance.
Requirements for the ODM Developer:
- 8+ years experience in developing, deploying, and managing business rules, decision tables, and rule flows.
- Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing business rules using ODM or comparable BRMS tools (e.g., Drools, Blaze Advisor).
- Advanced experience integrating rule engines within Java-based enterprise applications, leveraging Spring, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
- Strong understanding of decision modeling (DMN) and rule authoring best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Skilled in testing, debugging, and tuning rule executions across multiple environments.
