Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst: Provide comprehensive financial and operational analysis to support management initiatives and budgeting processes. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, including proformas and long-term planning, to evaluate capital requests and service line analytics. Prepare annual budgets and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and accountability. Offer day-to-day financial support, including accounts payable, payroll, and general financial assistance to leaders and staff. Act as a liaison between various departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Required Skills for Financial Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration from an accredited institution is required; an MBA or master's degree is preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in financial management or decision support within an acute care facility. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other MS Office products. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Standards (GAAP). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
