IDR is seeking a Sr Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for a fully remote opportuntiy. This role offers a chance to work within a leading organization in the financial services industry, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions in a remote setting.
Position Overview for the Sr Data Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data across multiple systems
- Build and optimize data models in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs
- Implement data transformation workflows using DBT to ensure data consistency, quality, and performance
- Utilize Airbyte and Airflow for data integration, orchestration, and automation of data workflows
- Partner with analytics teams to deliver Power BI dashboards and reports that drive actionable business insights
Requirements for the Sr Data Engineer:
- 7–9 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and advanced SQL
- Proven experience with DBT for data modeling and transformations
- Proficiency in Airflow for pipeline orchestration and Airbyte for data ingestion/integration
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools for data visualization and reporting
