IDR is seeking a Design Engineer to join one of our top clients in Watkins, CO. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on an Electrical Paneling project with the potential for future assignments and conversion to a full-time position. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Design Engineer:
- Develop and deliver Permit Drawings, Shop Drawings, and As-Built Drawings using Autodesk Revit.
- Create detailed wiring diagrams for equipment connections and update floor plans with equipment locations.
- Ensure all documentation is accurately delivered in RVT and PDF formats.
- Collaborate closely with our client's team and field personnel to ensure accurate site conditions are reflected.
- This is a 6-8 month contract with the potential for extension or conversion based on project needs.
Required Skills for Design Engineer:
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS), Physical Security Systems (PSS), or Division 27 Voice Data Systems is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
