Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Application Engineering Analyst II – Slack:

  • Support an extensive Enterprise Slack environment with nearly 10,000 active users, 40 workspaces, and numerous channels.

  • Address and resolve elevated support requests while identifying opportunities for automation and self-service enhancements.

  • Participate in resolving production incidents and manage time-sensitive requests with confidentiality.

  • Author and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, policies, and runbooks.

  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to ensure seamless communication and support.

Required Skills for Application Engineering Analyst II – Slack:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Slack administration within a large Enterprise Grid environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of Slack user roles, permissions, and Slack Connect.

  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and work autonomously.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in creating user-facing documentation.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and work management platforms like Jira, Airtable, and Trello is a plus.
