Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Network Architect:
- Lead the documentation of functional and technical requirements, architecture, design, and development using tools like Visio and MS PowerPoint.
- Troubleshoot and manage Routing and Switching technologies, including Cisco Nexus, Meraki, and Cisco ASR/ISR.
- Handle Palo Alto networks, firewalls, and Panorama, ensuring robust network security.
- Design and manage datacenter networks with technologies such as VXLAN EVPN, VRF, VPC, and Nexus dashboard.
- Collaborate heavily with teams in Dallas, TX, and NW Georgia, ensuring seamless network operations.
Required Skills for the Network Architect:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in network architecture and design.
- Expertise in complex routing topologies, specifically BGP and EIGRP protocols.
- Proficiency in datacenter networking, particularly with Cisco Nexus platforms.
- Cisco Network Professional Certifications – CCNP or higher required.
- Strong prior experience with Palo Alto
