This role is pivotal in managing and reporting on all facility, vehicle, and equipment lease accounting activities globally. Position Overview / Responsibilities
As a Senior Lease Accountant, you will:

Lead the preparation and maintenance of lease documentation, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 and accurate recording of lease schedules.

Oversee the entry and maintenance of lease data within the accounting system, ensuring data integrity and alignment with contractual terms.

Manage lease-related activities within financial close processes, including journal entry preparation, review, and approval.

Serve as a subject matter expert, reviewing lease agreements and interpreting terms for proper accounting treatment.

Identify and lead process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of lease accounting operations.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 5+ years of related experience.

In-depth knowledge of ASC 842 and U.S. GAAP regulations.

Proficiency in lease accounting systems such as FinQuery, CoStar, or LeaseAccelerator.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies in lease-related accounts.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and delivering presentations.
