Position Overview/Responsibilities for the NetSuite Engineer:
Lead the design, configuration, and customization of NetSuite to enhance R2R and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Develop and maintain SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and RESTlets to support automation and system integrations. Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to implement system-enforced controls and ensure compliance with SOX and GAAP standards. Oversee integrations with external systems and ensure accurate data flow into finance data warehouses. Mentor junior engineers and provide architectural guidance for NetSuite-related projects.
Required Skills for NetSuite Engineer:
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with the last 6 years focused on NetSuite. Proven expertise in architecting and enhancing NetSuite R2R and O2C processes. Strong technical skills in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and RESTlets. Experience integrating NetSuite with platforms like Salesforce, Coupa, or Concur. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
