Essential Qualifications for the Sales and Bank Audit Administrator:
- 1-2 years of experience in bank reconciliations and handling depository activities.
- A college degree is mandatory, with a preference for degrees in Business, Finance, or Accounting. However, equivalent education and experience combinations will also be considered.
- Candidates with relevant internship experience will also be taken into account.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and internal departments.
- High attention to detail, particularly in processing and reviewing documentation, data entry, and maintaining data integrity.
Daily Responsibilities for the Sales and Bank Audit Administrator:
- Reconcile store bank accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies with store management or banks.
- Download daily bank files using billing software, reconcile them with the general ledger, and record necessary journal entries.
- Match credit card transactions with the general ledger and investigate chargebacks.
- Verify store sales in the sales audit system, working with store management and IT to resolve issues.
- Oversee daily fund transfers from local store accounts to corporate accounts and manage check processing.
- Assist with accounts payable by sorting and stuffing checks.
- Report any issues identified during the reconciliation process to management.
- Help log, sort, and mail coupons for processing.
