Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Database Administrator:

Assist in developing reports to ensure compliance with Phase 2 of the EPA's NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule (eRule). Act as a technical liaison between IT partners and programmatic teams on eRule projects. Create training materials and documentation for MyTDEC Forms e-reporting, and manage data mapping and flows to DWR and EPA databases. Provide training and outreach to internal and external staff on e-reporting and NPDES data management. Deliver excellent customer service by supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills for Database Administrator:

Strong IT background with proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, and/or SAP Business Objects. Experience in data verification and preparing data-driven reports. Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance with federal rules. Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality. Excellent communication skills for presentations and customer interactions.
