About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior IT Project & Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex business systems solutions and enterprise-wide initiatives. In this role, you will oversee full project lifecycles—from scoping and estimation to implementation and closure—while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, IT Services, and executive leadership to drive efficiency, optimize system solutions, and deliver high-impact results. This position requires strong leadership, program management, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage enterprise-level projects and programs across multiple business and technology areas

Create and maintain detailed project plans, charters, risk logs, and executive reports

Oversee project budgets, perform variance analysis, and ensure financial accountability

Present project updates to senior leadership, including the PMO and C-Suite

Manage vendor relationships and support contract negotiations and administration

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members

Collaborate with the PMO Manager and Agile Delivery Director to drive portfolio management best practices

Support strategic portfolio planning, resource allocation, and enterprise-wide reporting
Required Qualifications:
-
8+ years of experience managing complex IT and business systems projects

Strong understanding of the Project Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Proven experience in program or portfolio management within a PMO or EPMO

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and present to executive stakeholders

Proficient in Smartsheet, MS Excel, MS Teams, and other project management tools

Experience in contract management and vendor oversight

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP certification strongly preferred
