Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant, General Accounting:
- Collaborate with our client’s team to ensure compliance with SEC requirements and GAAP standards.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate data and support project analyses and completion.
- Engage in a flexible work schedule with a blend of onsite and remote work, ensuring alignment with team activities.
- Leverage your industry, public accounting, or internal auditing experience to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and practices.
Required Skills for Senior Accountant, General Accounting:
- 3-5 years of experience in industry accounting, public accounting, or internal auditing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with SEC requirements, GAAP, and new accounting pronouncements.
- CPA certification or candidacy is preferred.
