Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Weekend Hardware Support Technician – Lake City, FL:

Assist in replacing a high volume of computers as part of a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project.

Identify and replace outdated devices, ensuring all necessary software is installed and operational on new machines.

Migrate user files and data from old devices to new hardware, providing Tier 1 support to end users during the transition.

Collaborate with our client's IT team to address any additional support needs and ensure a smooth transition.

Support efforts to update hardware and systems in line with Windows 10 end-of-life requirements.
Required Skills for Weekend Hardware Support Technician – Lake City, FL:

Basic IT support experience, particularly at the Tier 1 level.

Familiarity with Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 10 and 11.

Experience with computer setup, file migration, and software installation.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple device replacements.

Strong attention to detail and a customer service mindset.
