Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Open Enrollment Benefits Specialist:

Serve as a key resource at Benefit/Health Fairs, Wellness Events, and Open Enrollment Meetings, providing valuable information about benefits and plan offerings.

Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employers, prospective and existing members, and brokers, to address inquiries and provide guidance.

Collaborate with the Sales & Account Management Team to ensure seamless execution of open enrollment activities.

Travel as needed to various locations for event participation and material management.

This is a one-year contract position with the potential for extension, requiring flexibility for intermittent and on-call assignments, including some evenings and occasional Saturdays.
Required Skills for Open Enrollment Benefits Specialist:

Previous experience in sales or open enrollment, with a solid understanding of the health insurance industry.

Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and compliance.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to travel as required for event participation and logistical support.
