Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Biomedical Technician II:

Perform general equipment repairs and document results to ensure optimal functionality.

Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks to maintain a 95% equipment uptime.

Manage files, supplies, and parts to sustain a 90% uptime, advising on repair versus replacement decisions.

Stay current in the field through equipment certifications and ongoing training.

Collaborate with Information Services to support device integration and deliver cost-effective equipment servicing.
Required Skills for Biomedical Technician II:

Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent military program, experience, or certification.

At least one year of experience in healthcare biomedical engineering or healthcare technology management.

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.

Ability to make informed decisions on equipment repair versus replacement.

Experience in collaborating with IT or technical teams on device integration.
