IDR is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure to join one of our top clients in Nashville, TN. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting our client's location, focusing on enhancing and maintaining their cloud infrastructure.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure:

Develop and maintain GitOps pipelines using Argo CD, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Helm and Terraform.

Design and automate CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications and Databricks workflows using Azure DevOps.

Integrate Databricks with Azure services such as Data Factory and Key Vault, and set up observability tools like Azure Monitor and Datadog.

Mentor technical staff, providing architectural guidance for development and infrastructure improvements.

Participate in multiple projects, supporting the software development life cycle (SDLC) and maintaining source code control and release repositories.
Required Skills for Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure:

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred) and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and experience with containerization (Docker) and Git-based workflows.

Solid understanding of continuous integration and deployment best practices, along with Agile software development methodologies.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical and technical documentation skills.

Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in pair-programming when necessary.
