Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Tax Accountant:

Support tax accounting activities, gaining exposure to ASC 740 and assisting in the preparation and analysis of tax provisions.

Engage heavily in automation projects using Alteryx and contribute to analytical reporting.

Utilize OneSource Tax Provision software, with training provided, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate closely with the current Tax Senior based in Chicago to drive strategic tax initiatives.

Participate in special projects and assist leadership with various tax planning activities.
Required Skills for Senior Tax Accountant:

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree/CPA with 3+ years of experience.

Strong technical tax knowledge and a general understanding of GAAP, including ASC 740.

Experience with tax compliance, provision, and general ledger activities.

Proficiency in tax software such as OneSource, and automation tools like Alteryx.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
