Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Director – Tax Planning:

  • Lead a global team responsible for a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructuring, and cross-border planning.

  • Research, analyze, advise, and plan domestic and international tax issues.

  • Develop and implement tax planning initiatives, including oversight of reporting on various planning transactions via the annual compliance process.

  • Manage international staff resources involved in tax reporting for operations, including maintenance of earnings & profits, tax pools, and determination of available tax credits.

  • Monitor domestic and international legislative changes that may impact the company's tax position, including tax accounting implications.

Required Skills for Director – Tax Planning:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate income taxation.

  • Significant experience in tax planning, M&A, research, and compliance in a law firm, public accounting firm, and/or large corporate environment.

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
