Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technology System / Platform Engineer:
– Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring pipelines across on-prem and cloud environments.
– Collaborate with tech architects, developers, and data leads to ensure platforms meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
– Troubleshoot infrastructure and application platform issues across environments.
– Establish DevOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure-as-code standards.
– Support cutover, migration, and performance tuning activities during the technological transformation implementation phases.
– Ensure system-level observability, backup and recovery, and audit logging are built into all platform services.
– Apply cybersecurity and regulatory standards to system engineering practices.
– Convert business and functional requirements into comprehensive technology architecture and roadmaps.
– This is a 1-year contract with potential for extension or conversion.
– A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Required Skills for Technology System / Platform Engineer:
– 5-7 years of experience in platform/system engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure architecture.
– Hands-on configuration and testing experience in SAP ISU environment.
– Proficiency in SAP's core ERP systems, including the latest S/4HANA platform.
– Ability to write and debug code in SAP's proprietary programming language.
– Knowledge of system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
– Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) for integrating SAP with other systems.
– Skills in managing and migrating data within SAP ISU, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
– Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
– Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance consideration in enterprise systems.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation Details: $73/hr W2
