Position Overview for the Data Engineer:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to drive insights through data exploration, visualization, and advanced analytics. This role requires a strong technical foundation in SQL and Python or R, along with hands-on experience building data pipelines, working with APIs, and leveraging modern BI tools for impactful storytelling. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work across teams to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Required Top Skills for the Data Engineer:
- 5+ years of Data Engineering Experience
- Strong in SQL for data querying/manipulation and Python for data processing & statistical analysis.
- Proficient in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with Apache Nifi platform.
- Hands on experience with BI Tools (Power BI or Tableau)
- Hands on experience with Snowflake for modern date warehousing
- Prior experience with APIs (REST or SOAP) and API Security (API Keys, OAuth tokens, etc)
