Payments Systems Analyst
- Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
- Location: Remote
- C2C Pay Rate: $65.00
Responsibilities:

Perform a comprehensive analysis of the existing payments infrastructure to understand current state architecture.

Identify system requirements, technical dependencies, and opportunities for modernization or optimization.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.

Evaluate system performance, scalability, and security to identify strengths, gaps, and risks.

Translate Java-based application code into functional documentation to support requirement gathering and system understanding.

Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, models, and system maps.
Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Cards and Payment systems, including industry best practices and trends in payment modernization.

Ability to read and analyze Java code and extract business and functional requirements.

Proven experience in systems analysis, solution architecture, or similar roles within the payments domain.

Strong skills in documenting architectures, workflows, and system requirements.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
