IDR is seeking a Service Desk professional to join one of our top clients in Nashville, Tennessee. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Service Desk:

Provide desktop computer support assignments, emphasizing desktop computer problem resolution
-
Install a variety of desktop computer hardware and software, providing technical and customer support for these products
-
Analyze users' system problems and provide solutions
-
Work with teams of analysts, programmers, and users in application development environments
-
Test and write technical documentation prepared for software or hardware installation
-
Maintain a daily calendar of meetings and events, prepare presentations, agendas, and other documents
-
Manage software support and calls and other correspondence, maintaining a high level of responsiveness
Required Skills for Service Desk:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft operating systems
-
Knowledge of other office automation tools and the ability to identify and correct hardware malfunctions

Familiarity with Windows OS and application installation, Mac OS and iPhone IOS, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft O365, SharePoint, and Outlook

Experience with ticket tracking (Dynamics and Service Now), end user support and training, inventory and product support

Knowledge of Hardware Configuration, Active Directory, AV/Conference Support, Azure AD, Data Backup and Recovery, Data center experience, Networking, Disaster Recovery Planning, Email Administration, IIS, Intune, iOS/iPadOS, ipad and Iphone support, IPad/iPhone ITIL, ITIL Knowledge, Jira, Laptop Repair, Mac OSX, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server, Network engineering, Network security, OS 2012/2016/2019/2022, Printer, Remote access software, Remote Technical Support, Root cause analysis, SCCM, Scripting, Server management, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Software deployment, System Administration, System security, TCP, User Training, Virtualization, Virtualization Technologies, Visio, VoIP, VPN Configuration
