Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Service Desk Technician:
– Provide and facilitate support for technology issues encountered by our client’s team in a 24/7 environment
– Monitor our client’s electrical and network systems for stability and continuation of service(s)
– Diagnose and resolve incidents using documented procedures
– Perform or monitor system health checks or maintenance tasks following established procedures
– Train and orient customers in the use of hardware and software as needed
Required Skills for Service Desk Technician:
– Excellent customer service skills and understanding of the role of being the Voice of the Customer
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Experience working in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently
– Ability to identify and lead resolution of problems to provide better service to customers
– Responds to customer requests or inquiries in a timely manner using established methodologies and practices
