Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Security Engineer:
– Design, implement, and maintain security systems and tools
– Monitor alerts and take necessary actions
– Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses
– Develop, enforce, and review security policies, standards, and procedures
– Collaborate with IT, development, and business teams to integrate security into projects and daily operations
– Research and recommend new security technologies, tools, and techniques
– Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices
Required Skills for IT Security Engineer:
– 3-5 years of experience managing security tools such as CrowdStrike, ProofPoint, Tenable, and ReliaQuest
– General Azure ID/Microsoft security experience
– Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism
– Ability to work independently and lead projects
– Comfortable working onsite in Brentwood for the first 90 days, then moving to 3 days/week onsite
