This role serves as a crucial liaison between various departments and vendor partnerships, ensuring accurate data processing, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of employee inquiries related to retirement benefits. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Benefits Administrator :

– Administer the company's retirement plans, including overseeing employee enrollments, deferral changes, distributions, and terminations.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination between the payroll department and plan provider.
– Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll contributions and plan data.
– Monitor plan compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements, and coordinate annual testing and audits.
– Respond to employee questions regarding plan participation, loan options, distributions, vesting, upcoming retirement and other plan features.

Required Skills for Senior Benefits Administrator :

– Bachelor's Degree
– 5+ years of Human Resources experience
– Strong retirement plan administration experience
– Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting benefit programs
– Proficiency in HRIS applications
– Open enrollment experience
– Strong knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements and other laws affecting benefit programs including ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, Section 125, DOL requirements.
– Outsourced vendor project management experience
